Transforming Thoughts

Manage weight

A relationship with food that isn't a daily battle.

Not another diet, meal plan or calorie app, and not a discussion about "self-love." This is about the pattern underneath how and why you eat, the part no diet has ever actually addressed, so change doesn't depend on willpower alone.

Sound familiar?

What the real pattern actually sounds like.

“I've lost the same two stone three times. It always finds its way back.”
TowardChange that holds, because it isn't just willpower against a pattern that hasn't moved.
“I know exactly what I "should" eat. That knowledge doesn't stop me reaching for the other thing.”
TowardClosing the gap between what you know and what you automatically do.
“I eat when I'm stressed, bored, or upset - rarely because I'm actually hungry.”
TowardA different automatic response to the feeling that isn't about food at all.
“Every diet works until it doesn't, and then I feel like the failure, not the diet.”
TowardAddressing why the pattern exists, not just restricting around it again.

What we're actually working with

Diets change what you eat. They rarely change why. We work on the "why" - it's the more efficient fix.

People coming to me already know intellectually what healthy eating looks like. They've read the plans, tried the apps, done the meal prep. What tends to break it isn't a lack of knowledge; it's an automatic pattern, using food to manage stress, boredom, reward or comfort, that no amount of willpower reliably outlasts.

Hypnotherapy works with that pattern directly, helping to loosen the automatic link between certain feelings and reaching for food. NLP-informed coaching sits alongside it, looking honestly at your specific triggers and routines, and building something more sustainable in their place, at a pace that respects your relationship with food, not one that fights it.

Worth knowing: this is an educational, complementary service focused on the behavioural and emotional side of eating - it isn't a medical weight-management programme or a substitute for advice from your GP or a dietitian, particularly if there's an underlying health condition involved.

"I've changed my own relationship with food and fitness - not through another diet, but through consistency and low-impact habits that actually held."

Is this the right fit?

Worth a conversation, if -

This is probably for you if

  • You can identify the situations or feelings that tend to trigger eating that isn't about hunger.
  • You've tried diets that worked short-term but didn't hold.
  • You're ready to look at the pattern, not just the plate.

Worth flagging

  • If disordered eating or a diagnosed eating disorder is part of the picture, please speak to your GP first - I'm always happy to work alongside that care, not instead of it.
  • This site doesn't offer support for under-18s at present.
  • No outcome can be guaranteed - what I can offer is a structured, personalised process, and my full attention to it.

Let's talk about the pattern behind it.
